The Museum hosts a new exhibition entirely dedicated to the colorful animals of the glass artist Toni Zuccheri. The rooms of Gesù street will host unique works depicting birds - Zuccheri's favorite animals - and will be transformed, thanks to the preparation of Lissoni Associati, the Museum's official partner, into a fantastic aviary. The exhibition, curated by Rosa Chiesa and Sandro Pezzoli, will be an opportunity to focus on a particular aspect of the production of this unique Friulian artist, who looked to the natural world as a source of privileged inspiration.

The permanent collection of the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum, where excellent craftsmanship is at home, joins the nourished nucleus of birds where glass meets heterogeneous materials to give life to hoopoes, roosters, ducks: unique pieces where nature is exalted from the very personal choice of expressive means. A multi-faceted work that of the artist, who devotes his life to glass, always experimenting with new techniques and making extensive use of the most diverse wood materials, dry leaves, pebbles, bronze, cobs, often recovered supports, chosen for the imprint that nature has impressed on them, through their material charge, the vehicle of personal and collective memories.

The installation, at the Museum until October 13, is carried out with the support of the Lombardy Region and the Cariplo Foundation and Lissoni Associati for the installation. It supports the Banca Generali exhibition, while FLOS, Glas Italia and Max & Kitchen are technical sponsors.
