What to visit in Milan: Roman Milan

Although Milan has even been for a period the capital of the Roman Empire, not many testimonies of that periods have suvived until now. Of the large arena, similar in the dimensions to the Colosseum in Rome, the circus, various hundreds meters long, of the huge baths complex, only fragments are still present. Both because of the destructions by Frederick Barbarossa and because various buildings were demolished and the material recovered recycled into new constructions.
Also this section is going to become larger in the future.
