Chapel of the Sacred Spine in the Cathedral of San Leopardo |
Notes:
Fusion of three pictures on a scale of 2 stops. The name of the chapel is due to the relic (currently preserved in the museum) that Cardinal Gallo received as a gift at the end of the 16th century from the viscounts of Milan. The altarpiece by Francesco Albani represents Santa Tecla and Sant'Agnese and is a gift from Cardinal Girolamo Verospi (1644-1652). On the left wall there is an Ecce Homo by Guido Reni, from the early 17th century. All pictures of the Cathedral of San Leopardo in Osimo
