Englischer Titel: 13 STORIES FROM THE STREET
|
28/05/2019 - 01/09/2019: Humanistic/artistic cultural events Exhibitions
Nur englische Beschreibung:
An exhibition that awakens consciences and makes us reflect: this is the purpose of 13 stories from the street. Photographers without a fixed abode, open to visitors from May 28th to September 1st at the Gallerie dItalia in Milan.
A journey from the periphery to the heart of the city Everything comes from the photography workshops for the homeless organized by the non-profit organization in collaboration with Fondazione Cariplo: among them there were those who held the camera for the first time and who, after a long time, returned to use it, found it again secrets and expressive power.
The next step was to ask the photographers who had participated in the workshops to document the reality of Fondazione Cariplo - a heritage of people and projects in constant evolution - and to entrust them with the story of their own identity.
You can see the results in our museum in Milan: 52 unpublished images chosen from the 9,800 shots that the 13 authors made over the course of a year, photographing 13 projects chosen among the 1,500 that the Cariplo Foundation carries out each year (the cheerful community of a urban garden, the flight of an acrobat, an apartment where disabled children live, the face of a scientist).
