Notes: Fusion (obtained Using the page HDR on line on this site) of three pictures on a scale of 2 stops. Michelina Metelli is co-patroness of Pesaro. The marble altar and the oval reliquary are attributed to the Roman architect Filippo Barigioni and were built in 1708 on commission from the pope from Urbino Clemente XI. The altarpiece, depicting the blessed's ecstasy, was painted by Giovan Battista Consoli to replace the original one painted in 1606 by the Urbino painter Federico Barocci and stolen by Napoleon (it is currently exhibited in the Vatican Pinacoteca). The two marble statues of angels and the stucco decorations on the side walls are from 1773 and were created by the Pesaro sculptor Sebastiano Pantanelli.
